I am currently working on producing an e-commerce site and have installed the WP Shopify plugin. This is all setup correctly and synced with the shopify account – looks like it works pretty well with Lay Theme!

However, when I use a Buy Button, and implement the HTML into my page — a tab appears on the right hand side of my browser with a slide-out cart. I would like to hide the tab, and simply click 'View Cart' in my menu to take the customer to the cart overview page. Essentially I am trying to replicate the customer journey used on Actual Source: https://actualsource.org/products/mother-the-making-of-the-fever-dream

Do you know what might be the best way to implement this?

See the test page I am working on here: http://foolscap-editions.com/test-page

Would be great if you had any ideas!

        Dear @12b
to style the shopping card like it is in the example which you provided you will have a lot of CSS work in front of you.

Not sure where I can give advice. If you have a more specific question – I am happy to help.

        Best!

        Before you post

Use the Search Feature. Maybe there is already a solution to your issue.

        1. Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
        2. Disable all Plugins
        3. Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code ", click "Save Changes"
        4. Now see if your problem solved itself
        5. Go here, see if your problem is listed here:
        Troubleshooting

        When you post:
        1. Post a link to where the problem is
        2. If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it

        Thanks!
