Hi @mariusjopen ! I just start to use the multilanguage plugin and it seems that you can't change images for each language; for example, I have text on some images and I would like to change that image for another that belongs to their respective language, but when I made the change, it affects all other languages. I just saw in the plugin's page that this option is not avaliable, but I'm asking if using some code it would be possible to do... the main problem I see is that all 3 languages have the same page ID, so I can't use classes to display different images.

    Thank you in advance!!!

Hello @mariusjopen ! Thank you for your answer! I'm using the qTranslateX plugin! I just found a way to change the images depending on the language, but it only works for simple images, not carousel for example; This is the way I find if anyone is looking for a solution: in the text box, you go to "source code", and there you put this code:

        <p><img id="logo-image" class="aligncenter" src="yourimagelink" /></p>

You do this for any language you have. This is the only way to change the image depending on the language; as I say before, it does not work on carousel. If you have any suggestion for make this work it would be very nice!

Thank you again for your answer! Best!!

          Hi @antonioprado
I also have a website in multiple languages using laytheme. But I didn't use the qtranslatex plugin but the polylang addon, which works with different pages for each language. So with this plugin it is definitely possible to use different images for each language.
But nevertheless as this plugin is not yet recommended, because there are not that much experiences until now, be aware and backup your database before installing and activating. ;-)

          Kind,
          Sebastian

@antonioprado Very very old thread, but i just found out that for differnet images in different languages, with qTranslateX you can copy paste the image into a text field for each language. Not the cleanest way, but it works

ah interesting! i thought you'd need to use a different plugin like polylang
