Site becomes empty after update - Wordpress in Subdirectory

Hey there, i wanted to work on my new portfolio and updated Lay Theme to the newest version. Since then my site is not working at all > martinmelcher.de/wp

In the console there seems to be a problem with this address:

http://martinmelcher.de/wp-json/laytheme/search/

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)

Obviously its not using the directory /wp. If i change the URL i get this:

http://martinmelcher.de/wp/wp-json/laytheme/search/

Undefined variable: this in <b>/var/www/virtual/mmelcher/html/wp/wp-content/themes/lay/search/search.php</b> on line <b>26</b><br />

Disclaimer: I do not use any other plugins right now except the provided Lay Theme Plugins Carousel, Lightbox, Fullscreen Slider.
