      Hey,
I have bought Favorit webfonts, installed properly, they overall work well except characters such as: ' or „” - they are replaced with some standard ones and i need to manually insert these characters from the "special character" button.

See image: left "R" is corrected, right is as it shows up when typed (incorrectly).

        Dear @gregd
best is to ask DINAMO about this issue first :-)

        Best!

@mariusjopen I contacted them and got an reply:

"An issue like this usually has nothing to do with the font itself. All the various quote marks are in definitive unicodes and we don’t have any OpenType code inside Favorit which does any swapping like this.

However a lot of programs (and the Wordpress editor) try to “correct” the type of quotes you write when editing text.

I think something like this could help you disable this default behaviour:
          https://www.ironpaper.com/webintel/articles/fix-wordpress-quotes-by-displaying-straight-quotation-marks/"

Do you have any info about such behaviour? I don't want to play dumb with the code :)

I guess it could also be the browser or OS correcting these things.
Wordpress didn’t correct any of my texts and I’m also using Favorit on my Site.

If you want to make sure everything is as typed you could prepare your text in a texeditor like AI Writer or similar and then copy paste them (w/o formats!!) into the html / code view of wordpress.

              Before you post

Use the Search Feature. Maybe there is already a solution to your issue.

              1. Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
              2. Disable all Plugins
              3. Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code ", click "Save Changes"
              4. Now see if your problem solved itself
              5. Go here, see if your problem is listed here:
              Troubleshooting

              When you post:
              1. Post a link to where the problem is
              2. If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it

              Thanks!
