Text thumbnail instead of image

Hi All,
I would like to build a website based on a text thumbnails instead of images. What would be the most suitable way to do so? At this point I only managed to create text thumbnails as a png but there is a scale problem later on. Simple draw what I want to achieve here:

LayTheme has not really the option to generate those kinds of lists.
But you could either try to use a thumbnail grid and hide the images with CSS.Or you make the list manually.

with CUSTOM CSS and the !important tag. And then you need to select the specific link which you do not want to change.A bit annoying CSS work.

Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"

- Post a link to where the problem is
