Hey Armin, is there any way to make an individual description for a post/page, which search engines can read? At the moment all the different links (e.g. on google) have the same website description from misc options. It seems your "project descriptions for thumbnails" doesn't do it. That would be the easiest way. Best, Clemens

Hey Clemens, no there's no way to do that.
Does that make sense? I don't know if that makes sense. I mean google searches through the texts of your website and it uses that description meta tag to show some text underneath your website title when u find the website on google. hmmm

Hi Armin, I think so, yes First of all google likes to see site-specific descriptions for each page/post and also suggests that at Search Console. The description is what they deliver normaly.

Ah yea, learn sth new everyday :)
So basically its enough to have the website description metatag only on the frontpage and no duplicates of that on the other pages.

I think maybe it would be better to not use "project descriptions for thumbnails" for meta tags, cause maybe you want to have a description meta tag but dont want a "project description for thumbnail" for that project.

Thanks for the heads up, will think about that more, maybe there will be an extra field just for that meta tag one day.
