Full screen slider problem
-
Hi,
We are noticing an odd behavior when using Lay Theme’s Fullscreen slider add-on.
In some computers and browsers the animation runs fine (smooth and constant) but on others the animation is not smooth, I.e shows some image tearing / trembling when one slide passes to another. Using the mouse scroll to pass onto the next slide makes the problem more noticeable in some cases. Please check our video which shows the problem. I'm sending it via wetransfer:
https://wetransfer.com/downloads/3f3114d70daa942fc06b6a9ee460565220190325225114/629afe5bb279f3eb279116c0ceb4616a20190325225114/c9ec5aWe don’t understand why it works well on some computers / browsers and others don’t. For example, 2 MacBooks, one from 2015 and other from 2018 both using Chrome, one runs fine and the other doesn’t.

Hey guys! I really need an answer to this problem. Have you figured it out? -
Dear Lay theme team,
It's been 12 days since I comunicate the problem I'm facing using one of your addons - the full screen slider.
As I didn't insert any custom css in the website, I don't understand why the addon isn't working perfectly.
I designed the site having this addon in mind, so I'm in a hurry now. I really need some answers from you...
For me and for the client it's imperative to have the scroll bar active, and when I do that, the bug appears.Thank you,
Hope to hear form you soon -

Hey @mimi
Sorry that I couldn't do much here.
Websites can be janky or stutter when there are animations. That really depends on the computer's power and the animation. The scrollbar off option makes the page animate not by scroll but by css transforms which is more performant.
I will do an update of the fullscreen slider and we'll see if that solves the problem but I'm really not sure.
It's hard to fix a problem if i cannot reproduce it on my own computer. -
I think I can bring a bit more info about this problem. It's also sometimes visible on Carousel slideshow.
I could narrow it to Safari running on MacOs Catalina, in my case at least. It does not happen on Safari running on Sierra, which I have installed on my laptop, or under Chrome, both on Sierra and Catalina. Seems to be a Safari/Catalina specific problem.
