Blurry images
-
Hey there, I've been noticing that images are a little bit blurry. I made this comparison with a regular CSS background image (left) and Lay Theme's background image (right).

You can see how the type is much blurrier in the right one. I have set the 100% quality image and I'm using even a plug in to disable the Wordpress jpg compression.
Any idea how to fix this? Thanks

U got a link for me?

I sent you a PM.

Hey Maria, if your background images are a bit blurry I'm not sure if I can fix that. But the normal images, are they blurry?
-
@arminunruh sorry I was not very clear. I actually don't have any background images, my normal images are the ones that are a bit blurry. They are perfectly sharp and once I put them on my lay website they get a little bit blurry, I can't seem to figure out why. (I had already noticed this before happening with a couple of other websites that also use lay theme.) I will PM you a couple of links so you can better see what I am talking about.
Thanks! -
Hey MAN!
Can you please update to 1.7.1 and try the option "Lay Options" → "Misc Options" → "Never show resized versions of your images"Please let me know if that makes your row background image more sharp.
For Maria that fixed it.

Hello Armin, first of all, congratulations for the theme, it's really nice and easy :)
I'm having the same problem with the images... the quality is not good (i will send you a screenshot between my current page and the new i'm doing with lay theme so you can see the difference.
I have the 1.8.7 version i think... i just updated today.
I have 100% quality on Misc options and the "Never show resized versions of your images" activated,
Could you please try to check out why is this happening?
Thank you very much and again, congratulations :D

Hey antonio!
It's a bit hard for me to say why the image on the lay theme website looks blurry.I just tested the "never show resized images" option and it seems to work.
Do you think maybe the image is "blown up"? Meaning maybe you uploaded an image with for example 1024px width but on the website it is taking up more width than 1024px.If you could upload the site and give me a link that would help.

antonio is your image maybe in a carousel or something? if u have a link for me that would be great, I'm sure I could solve the problem if I could take a closer look.
