Fullscreen slider, Navigation — numbers instead of circles?

Is there any way to have numbers instead of the dots for the fullscreen slider? For slides with lots of images (say 20+) the dots become unusable, but I still need an indicator of how long the slider is. I've been doing this manually (by just adding text with the slide number per slide), but it's a nightmare if you add or re-order the slides. Thank you!

there is not an official way. You could try to do that with CSS though.
You can add content with CSS to div boxes.Maybe that helps!

Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
