Slow loading of images

Hi, thank you for the great tool, really like the theme, the functionalities, and options it provides. However, I have my website ready to launch but have been struggling with the loading time of the images. My photos are not small, but I have optimized them a bunch, have the WP REST API Cache plugin installed, Lazy load an image when you scroll to it, and Image Quality (.jpeg) to 70% in the settings. Still, the website takes sometimes more than 20 seconds to load, sometimes the images don't load at all.

I am aware that I have pages with many images and others with no more than 10. But with these considerations and the Lazy load that shouldn't be an issue I believe.

Have you found a way to make this work faster? This is the only reason why I haven't launched my website, to be honest.

I am testing the images in other servers and the same images load super fast, so I am guessing is something with the system instead of the optimization of the images? Thoughts?

I host with MT, I have talked to them and they said it is the template and not on their end.
