Image optimisation plugin

Good afternoon,
I know you suggested one or two tricks to help with slow websites but someone recommended two more plugin I should use:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/autoptimize/Have you ever heard of these two? Do you recommend using them? Or could it alter laytheme is some way?

I do not know them. You can for sure give it a shot.Best is to make an update before.

In terms of image optimization I would recommend to try somethin along the lines of XnConvert – Gives you more flexibility to optimize your images prior to uploading.
I don't answer or check forum DMs, please just post on the forum.
Before you post:
Use the Search Feature. Maybe there is already a solution to your issue.
1. Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
2. Disable all Plugins
3. Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code ", click "Save Changes"
4. Now see if your problem solved itself

Troubleshooting
