PHP Update with OVH
-
this might be a little bit off-topic:
Is anyone using OVH for there website?
I am having trouble upgrading the PHP in order to update to a newer version of Wordpress.
I did set the php to 7.0 in the OVH user panel, but the wordpress panel tells me I am still using 5.4 and thus am unable to update.Anyone else have this issue?

Is there any way to contact OVH?
Looks like an error on the hoster’s end to me. -
@edgrbnz I'll try that

Just for anyone reading this, I solved the problem, got a walkthrough from OVH, had to adjust the read/write rights of a specific file in my ftp root directory.

@Filippo hey, I called customer service (in this case OVH) they gave me a step by step guide on what to edit (over the phone) so I can't recall what it was, best you call your provider
I don't answer or check forum DMs, please just post on the forum.
Before you post:
Use the Search Feature. Maybe there is already a solution to your issue.
1. Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
2. Disable all Plugins
3. Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code ", click "Save Changes"
4. Now see if your problem solved itself
5. Go here, see if your problem is listed here:
Troubleshooting
When you post:
1. Post a link to where the problem is
2. If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
