Background image on Smartphone issue

Hello,
sorry if this has been discussed before, but I couldn't find much about it.
I've set a stretched and fixed background image for my website, which works just fine, except with text only pages. When visiting those on smartphone, instead of staying fixed on the background, it scrolls down along with the rest of the page's content.

Appreciate any help! ThanksCorrection: the stretched and fixed background doesn't seem to work on mobile at all. It just keeps scrolling down. It works fine in the theme control panel's preview, but not on the actual smartphones i've tried with, which are two updated iPhones using Safari.

Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options ā Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
This often solves issues you might run into
When you post:
- Post a link to where the problem is
- Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
- If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
