shortcodes / textillate / word animation
-
hi everybody!
i am having a blast adjusting my website using lay, and so far i found it very easy to do.i have been running into an issue today, that i was unable to solve on my own yet.
i would like to use the functionallity of the easy textillate plugin to add some animation to some words. unfortunatly i cant figure out how to get the shortcodes working. it will just display the shortcodes along with the text and no animation.
does anybody know how to solve this? or another solution for me to have some blinking and moving text?
cheers everybody!

Dear @robochicken
we are not familiar with this plugin.
But I can imagine that it uses Javascript. So this might be the reason why it does not work:
http://laytheme.com/documentation.html#custom-javascript
You can always use CSS and your own jQuery to make animations.Best!

aye! too bad i dont really know javascript, just a little css. there is a php script instead of the shortcode provided.
e.g:
<?php echo do_shortcode("[textillate effect_in='fadeInLeftBig' type_in='sequence' effect_out='hinge' type_out='shuffle']The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.[/textillate]"); ?>
would you know right away how to implement that or would it also include the javascrip thing? or do you have another suggestion how i could add some dancing / moving letters to a lay website with my coding handicap?
btw: this is the plugin i was looking at, from what i have seen it seems pretty versatile and easy to use in general. just not inside lay: https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-textillate/

Dear @robochicken
Because your Lay Theme website is a "Single Page" JavaScript application you are not able to use PHP.:-)
We are working on a . PHP version of Laytheme.
Best!
