    Hi there,

    I use the latest LAY Version.

    Is there any chance to change the burger icon into text? For example MENU and CLOSE instead of the burger?

    .burger:before
    { content:”MENU”;}

    Thank you.

      Dear @stdhd
      no by default. Only with CUSTOM CSS and JQUERY this is possible. Not that difficult.
      Do you know the basic of JQUERY?

      Best!

        Oh great! Is this something like “replace” or change something in the theme files or in the child-theme?

        I know, it’s a special request but maybe it’s a simple solution :)

          Instead of coding you could also make use of the new mobile menu options and upload your custom images for Menu and Close, though. It’s not perfect but might be worth considerung.

            Hi there,

            I'd love to have a text saying "INDEX" instead of a hamburger icon. What would be the CSS and JQUERY? Do you have some tips? I do have basic knowledge in both. :)

            Also, I'd like to use the mobile menu for the desktop version, too. How could I do this?

            See here.

            All best
            Aleks

              Dear Aleks

              @Aleksandar

              Q:

              "I'd like to use the mobile menu for the desktop version, too. How could I do this? "

              A:
              This is possible. You could set the breakpoint in Lay Options so that the Mobile layout is used always. This will mean of course that you must use the Mobile Layout.

              If you wish to just use a burger menu with a desktop Layout this will need to be Custom Coded in.

              Best wishes 🌝
              Richard
