Slow switching to text only page
-
Hello,
I have an info page on my site that is only text and it usually takes a second or longer to load. I'm wondering if you have any suggestions for speeding up the load time for this page since there aren't really any assets. I set the transition duration to 0 so the load time is unrelated to the transition animation.
My site is:
The link to the text only page is "info" on the top right.
Thank you!

Dear @mlsptn
I think it is the page transition which seems to make it slow.
Until now you cannot switch if off.Best!

Hi,
I have the same problem while working on this site:
https://kollektiv-marudo.ch/test-home-betaWhen i switch between the the menue points (alle/journal/entwurf/projekte) i want to have no visible transition. I set the "Transition duration when navigating" to "0" but the element grid and the text-object still fades in and out. it has nothing to do with the size of the images, because it even did that without any images on the site.
Is there any way how I can get ridge of the transition?
Tank you in advance!
It would be great if anyone could help. -

can you install the plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-rest-cache/
as recommended here?

@arminunruh thanks for the suggestion. but i've already installed the plugin and the transition is still visible. Is there any other way how I can kill the transition?

Dear @tizi
you cannot switch off the transitions in general.
Maybe your provider is slow?
Best!Marius
