Webfont not working
-
Dear @bora323
I think it might be the font then. Can you convert the font to a webfont with another webfont generator?
Best!

actually,, i don't think it's the font. I've purchased these web fonts from the font foundry. They also looked into it and told me that the site is currently blocking it:
Access to font at 'http://secureservercdn.net/166.62.110.232/b63.bc5.myftpupload.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/SuisseIntlMono-Regular-WebS.woff?time=1579511834' from origin 'http://work.borashin.info' has been blocked by CORS policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. (see screenshot attached).
Is this a server issue??

Dear @bora323
ok. We need to understand where the problem is.Does the font work when you use it on a plain HTML website?
Is it possible (for test reasons) to convert it with a webfont-generator?
How do you embed the font? You upload it the way which LayTheme provides?
Best!

@mariusjopen hello, yes, the font works perfectly fine when i use it on a plain html website by referencing the font url to my server.
fyi - this font worked on my current laytheme before, and this is a recent issue...!
I currently upload the font by the method laytheme provides, so I goto layoptions > webfonts > upload
-
@mariusjopen oh, and this issue is only on chrome, not safari.

hey, well
- your .woff file is not http://work.borashin.info/ but it is on a different domain
- it seems there is a cdn in use "secureservercdn", maybe you have a cdn plugin installed, please disable it. it could either be a cdn plugin or a cdn option in your webhost control panel
- download that woff file and upload it through lay options -> webfonts with your cdn disabled
if that doesnt work please do the following:
please send me these infos to info@laytheme.com:link to this topic
website address
username and password for your /wp-admin/ admin area
also send the .woff file to me attached to the email
Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
This often solves issues you might run into
When you post:
- Post a link to where the problem is
- Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
- If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
