SHORTCODE page not loading

since I use a shortcode for the »read more« modus, the page needs ages to load, save and Stops in the middle of it. Do you have any idea why this is happing?

shortcodes do not work very stable with LayTheme in general.Is there another way to achieve the desired result?

Not really - well I could not find one. I want to put a »+« and a »-« in there to make text visable and unvisable. Do you know any other way I could achieve that!

with jQuery this is pretty easily possible.

Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
This often solves issues you might run into
When you post:
- Post a link to where the problem is
- Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
- If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
