Show thumbnail image while loading thumbnail video

Hello,
is there a way to display the thumbnail image of a project while the thumbnail video is loading?I have a page that uses video thumbnail for all projects and it takes a moment before the videos play because they all load at once so it'd be neat if the thumbnail images could show while thumbnail videos load.

Before you post:
Use the Search Feature. Maybe there is already a solution to your issue.
1. Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
2. Disable all Plugins
3. Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code ", click "Save Changes"
4. When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
