Problem with Jscript

Hello everyone,
I'm buidling a new website with Laytheme, and I would like te put a mix-bend cursor, using this codepen as example : https://codepen.io/farisk/pen/bMgrxyBut, I just can't make it work :
I put the JS into <script> tags, and replaced $ with jQuery.
I put "cursor" div into "Custom HTML at top".
And used the CSS as in the codepen example.Maybe someone has a solution ? It may be a misplaced HTML div ?

Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options ā Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
This often solves issues you might run into
When you post:
- Post a link to where the problem is
- Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
- If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
