"Space above" doesn't work in Firefox
-
Hey Armin,
While testing my site in different browsers I came across what seems to be a bug. I work with the "space above" option in several cases to position elements if needed. It all looks good in Chrome (and Safari), but Firefox seems to be completely ignoring these values. It looks quite shitty as you probably can imagine.
I uploaded 4 screenshots, two of Firefox and two of Chrome (how it's supposed to look):

Thanks!

Hi Armin,
I have the same problem - with space above and below in Firefox -- I tried to update Lay Theme but somehow that doesn´t work.
Can you help me with that?
Thanks a lot in advance!
Best, Regine

Hi again,
if the update of Lay Theme doesn´t work cause it´s the older free version and it´s even duplicate of that - let me know. I´ll buy the new one now if that´s possible afterwards.

Hey Regine,
It should work unless you have the version 1.058.
But yeah, the updating doesn't seem to work so well at the moment. If you create multiple lay theme websites please buy a lay theme single license :).

Need custom programming for your Lay Theme site?
I regularly add new features to Lay Theme for free, based on user feedback. But if you or your client need something more specific, I’m happy to offer custom paid programming tailored to your project.
Email info@laytheme.com with the subject "Custom paid programming for Lay Theme" and a short description of what you need — I’ll reply with a cost estimate.
Custom features I build often make it into future Lay Theme updates, so your idea might benefit the whole community.
Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
This often solves issues you might run into
When you post:
- Post a link to where the problem is
- Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
- If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
