      Hey,
      on the homepage of my site I have an animated gradient that I use as the background (a friend of mine helped me set it up, I am not great with code.) Since the recent lay theme/ Wordpress update the gradient seems to get cropped off by the colour of my background. Anyone know a fix for this? Previously the gradient would be the background for the entire page.

      Thanks! Screenshot 2020-04-19 at 16.36.43.jpg

        Im just a stranger, not a laytheme person. But looks like you can either change the specific page's background to transparent (in the gridder), or you add the below to your css

        .slug-info #grid {
            background-color: transparent;
        }

          @joshsender said in Animated gradient background glithed since recent updates:

          .slug-info #grid {
          background-color: transparent;
          }

          Thanks Josh,
          so where in the code would I include what you supplied me with? sorry, im new to this side of things. need to get to grips with css

            @joshsender Ah yeah, I figured it. Pressing clear on the gridder for background colour sets it to transparent! Thanks so much!

            Before you post

            Use the Search Feature. Maybe there is already a solution to your issue.

            1. Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
            2. Disable all Plugins
            3. Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code ", click "Save Changes"
            4. Now see if your problem solved itself
            5. Go here, see if your problem is listed here:
            Troubleshooting

            When you post:
            1. Post a link to where the problem is
            2. If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it

            Thanks!
