PageSpeed picking up duplicate files

Hey,

Firstly thanks for all the updates lately, massively helped speed things up!

One issue I've notice while optimising my site is the enormous payload. I know this is mainly because of the way I've built my site, but i've noticed an issue with the carousel html5 videos.

Within the 'Avoid enormous network payloads' section it lists three videos twice each, I believe it's loading the videos twice. I've deleted and added the videos back it, created the page from scratch with no success. Is it something caused by the theme? Link to the PageSpeed test here,

unfortunately somehow firefox doesn't let me lazyload html5 videos
so they're always loaded

and if you have them in custom phone layout and desktop layout,
they are loaded twice :/

Hey @arminunruh thanks for responding back.

What would you recommend using to upload videos as I'm just a bit conscious my page is a bit slow to load because of those video clips. Do you think that could be something patched in a future?

we do not recommend to uplaod big videos anyway. That might be heavy for your server.
Use vimeo or youtube if possible.

yeah totally understand why, its just confusing me why some of the videos are loading now up to 6 times. I've optimised the videos to about 600kb - 1.6mb and there are only 4 videos but they are all loading 2 - 6 times each. Just confusing but i may end up uploading it elsewhere.

so the carousel is infinite / loops so it there are duplicate slides in the html, so the video loads twice

however, when your browser loads a html5 video, it caches it

mmh i want to create an option for having carousels not loop
and also i really need to look into this html5 video lazyloading issue again

just because it didn't work on firefox i had to disable lazyloading for html5 videos altogether and thats rlly not a good solution
