Very slow content update on a project page
-
Hello,
I'm having an issue with slow content updates with my site.
I've noticed that my latest edits and content changes are reflected on my own browser, but if I go on a different computer or in chrome's "incognito mode", no changes have been made. These changes, however, eventually do get processed, but after 2-3 days.
In addition, this problem is mostly affecting one project page (WIP) on my site: https://www.emitakahashi.ca/kachibuwaI have also noticed that this page has some errors and warnings that are not site-wide, which might be causing this issue, though I am not sure what to do about them.
Please let me know if there's anything I can do to fix this, as I need to be sure that my edits are being reflected across all browsers.
Thank you,
Emi -
Dear @marskid
Do you have any third-party plugins installed or CUSTOM JS code? Is it possible to deactivate it for a moment to see if the problem remains?
Is Wordpress and LayTheme up to date?
Many wishes!

Hello @mariusjopen,
Thank you for your reply.
I have no custom JS code, no other plugins except the Carousel add-on, and I've recently updated both Wordpress and Lay Theme (more than a week ago). I am not sure what to do and the problem still remains.
I now have a new problem, however, and it's that all the numbers have disappeared on my carousel images! (The setting is still activated, they were there yesterday, and today they are gone... very strange). I have not touched or edited the site in 3 days so I don't understand how they can suddenly disappear overnight.
Thank you,

Dear @marskid
Best is if you write me a PM and include your username, password to your Wordpress Admin panel and a link to this conversation.
Many wishes!
Marius
Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
This often solves issues you might run into
