clone function

First of all, i really love the lay theme! I was trying out so many different themes to design my homepage and the lay theme is the (almost) perfect solution.
One thing i would really wish for is to extend/update the clone function. Would it be possible to maybe duplicate every object by right click->duplicate?
I'm working on a design where i want to have a lot of similar Text objects packed in stacks divided by horizontal lines. Right now I have to do a lot manual work and type in the "space-above/below" a bunch of times.
What i also noticed is, if you have a text object which has a different object with 0 space below it's impossible to click the clone button. It is disappearing, even the cursor is exactly going from the text object to the button. -

Use the Search Feature. Maybe there is already a solution to your issue.
1. Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
2. Disable all Plugins
3. Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code ", click "Save Changes"
4. Now see if your problem solved itself
