Colours change between devices in Laytheme
-
Hi all,
Not sure if this is a screen issue or an issue with laytheme, but some general advice would be great.
Essentally, I have some MP4 Videos on my website which have a single colour background. I've put these videos on a background colour within the gridder which has the same Hex value. On my PC and iPad pro, the colours match perfectly, while on my mac they are slightly different, to the point where you can see the frame of the video being a slightly darker colour than the background, even though they are (by value) the same colour.
My browser is Chrome across all devices. I thought it might be something to do with the fact that my mac screen is retina, but if I plug my PC screen in to my laptop and view the website through sharing the screen, the colours are different. If the same screen is plugged in to my PC then the colours match perfectly.
Is this something to do with how my mac callobrates colour, or is it something that might be a bug in Laytheme? I'm not a developer of a digital designer, but would love to be educated a little on this if its not to do with Laytheme!
Here is a link to the page in question, the problem I'm having starts at the point where bottles appear. http://byfire.co.uk/five-points-brewery
Cheers,
Alex

Dear @Byfire
welcome to the world of screen colours :-)
This is a general problem with colours on the screens.
Nothing about LayTheme.
You can look into colour profiles. SRGB should help.
Best!
