Social Icons in main menu

Hey there,

I think this question was asked last year, but I can't find a resolution yet. Is there any way to add social media icons to the main menu (header) of the page? This is kind of a dealbreaker for my client...

Dear @thearlman
there are some hacks to do it.
You could add a letter as a menu-item. And then make it invisible and show a small background-image with the icon instead.
Maybe a plugin also can work?
