UNREGISTERED Version?

I'm getting this notification:

UNREGISTERED version of Lay Theme. Please enter your License Key.

However I've been having LayTheme for quite some time now, never had this problem!?

Hello Hayo,
If you downloaded lay theme while it was free you didnt get a license key. In this case you may use lay theme without a key, it will still work.

I'm getting the same notification:

I bought my version last march and got the "Lay Theme Single License with Fullscreen Slider Addon Key".
I enter the key in the License Key Management and get this:
Unexpected Error! The query returned with an error.

An idea what is going wrong? I did use it on a friend's no longer existing website to show him the possibilities of the theme but i deactivated it soon after.

Hey Adele,
Currently the key activation doesn't work on all webhosts. Especially on strato it doesn't work… I'm trying to fix this, but this could take a while.

Ok! For information i'm at OVH for the webhost. As long as i can use lay theme it i'm fine.

I'm having the same notification on wordpress. I can't upload any new image so I wonder if that it's the reason.
I purchased lay theme but can't find any key.

Hey daniel,
Maybe you cannot upload images anymore, because your webspace is full. What is the error message that you're getting? It's not because of a missing key.

I can see that you downloaded lay theme when it was free. See, the email that you sent me. It is a response to an email that says "you purchased lay theme for 0.00$".

If you got lay theme when it was free you didn't receive a key. In this case you may use lay theme without a key, it will still work.

Hey Daniel,
Have you found out if your image uploading problem is linked to your webspace? Because mine is not full but when I click on "Add Image" and "Edit" nothing happens anymore and no error message.
All the others (Add Video, Text, Project, More) are working perfect.

Indeed just back to say that i fixed the bug that was I think linked to malwares. I can upload images and edit again :) Thank you for your time!

Hi Armin,

I just bought a lay theme license one hour ago. I am also using the OVH hoster ( like adele) and get an error when trying to activate through the license key.
Is there already any solution ? What is actually changing when when I am activating the license key? Can I start working on the webpage or am I missing some options; when not activating?

Hey RC!
There is no fix yet. Gonna try and fix it soon. Basically if you activate your theme, it makes the "unregistered version, please activate" message go away. :) Other than that everything is working also without activating the key.
