    Dear dears,

I've been recently receiving many requests from photographers for building a gallery like in Squarespace's Wells template (example: https://www.mpkelley.com/2019/7/27/osxctvac23utksnhaes993g0sfre17), that starts from an image slider but can be simultaneously switched to a thumbnail grid and vice versa.

I didn't find a way to accomplish that with LayTheme, nor any other available plugins/themes for Wordpress, so I have to send my clients to work with Squarespace... ):

Please consider developing such gallery functionality, I think it will have a lot of demand (:

      Hi!

I guess you could already achieve something similar with the Carousel Addon with all the desired photos and then add a link somewhere that links to another page with an image grid (with the same photos).

You would have to add the content manually in both instances though. On the other hand you would have a lot more flexibility with styling etc.

        Dear @spontans

I will add this "Feature request" to our development notes/possibilities for the future

In the meantime trying @edgrbnz great idea could be an option?

Thank you for Using Lay Theme!

        Best wishes
        Sincerely

        Richard

@edgrbnz Thanks, I didn't think about this idea, but I prefer not to make it complicated for the client (managing 2 pages for 1 project), who in the end will have to manage his website...
