    Hello there,

    a clients website I did with laytheme is down after the update.
    The troubleshooting advices of your website didn't work so far, would be great to get some help.

        I made an update of the current lay-theme version and now the website of the client is down: https://www.jewelsbasel.com

        I tried all the suggestions you are giving at the forum, but I couldn't fix it, till now.

        Would be great to get some help.

          Your getting a few errors related to your Carousel, Is it possible to de-activate it shortly to make sure?

            @Richard-Keith Sure.
            could you mabye contact me via hello@florianhauer.de when you would be ready to check, so I deactivate Carousel (btw. how do i do this?)

              hey @Richard-Keith and @FloMo

              When a website is down after updating this can often be related to people updating their addons but not their theme or updating their theme and not the addons.

              There was a major change in lay theme and all addons needed updating.

              This issue here is likely solved by doing the steps that are noted above:

                many thanks! It works again.
                There is one more thing which is bothering me; The Mobile Version backend design somehow is buggy (see picture attached). I can not properly edit the pages any more since everything is just 1/6 visible.

                Would be amazing to get some help here as well.

                  Before you post:
                  1. When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
                  2. Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
                  3. Disable all Plugins
                  4. Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"

                  This often solves issues you might run into

                  When you post:
                  1. Post a link to where the problem is
                  2. Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
                  3. If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
