Slider for Laygridder broken
-
I am unable to use Lay Theme in a project due to a design that is not compatible with it, but I would still like to have a Carousel-like slider. And I happily found this: https://bitbucket.org/aunruh/slider-for-laygridder-com Unfortunately it seems to be broken: Whenever I want to add a slider I see the dialog menu, select images and click OK and then - boom - the whole Lay Gridder disappears, making in impossible to place or save the slider to the layout. Can you fix it?
-
EDIT:
it might have something to do with that the plugin misses those liked files ? ->

Dear @thomasmaier
Could you please post a link to your website with the example issue and i will forward this for further inspection.
Thank you for using Lay Theme and have a wonderful day.
Sincerely
Richard -
hey we're already writing emails about this
the slider works for me
-
@Richard-Keith @arminunruh I sent an email about this to Armin with the login details for the demo. Thanks!!

Update: I think I found the problem: The downloaded slider-plugin's folder name is different from the path it is called on. So a simple change of the plugin's folder name to match the path (which can be looked up in the error message from e.g. the web inspector window) makes it work.

Yes, as it says in the documentation, the folder name should be:
/slider-for-laygridder-com/
Need custom programming for your Lay Theme site?
