    Hey guys,

I’m wondering if it’s possible to use the Wordpress Image Description (which can be added to an image in the Wordpress Mediathek) to display this text instead of the Lightbox Caption (which needs be added in each Element Grid)?

It would be cool if you want to use one image in several/different Element Grids. Normally, you have to add the Lightbox Caption in each Element Grid. If you could you the Wordpress Image Description, you only had to enter the text once and it would be displayed as Lightbox Caption across all Element Grids, the image is in.

    Thanks and greetings from Cologne
    Alex

    Dear @Richard-Keith,

thanks for your fast reply – glad, that you wrote it down for future discussion! Looking forward to it and in the meantime, I’m thinking about a workaround for that ;)

    Greetings
    Alex

    Dear Alex @rocked23

    Thank you for understanding :)
I apologise that it isn't a readily available feature already, it would be great to have that control across the whole Theme, but sometimes this will cause clashes.

However, i do look forward to any work-around that you may achieve, it's a worthy endeavour! :)

    Good Luck and best wishes

    Sincerely
    Richard

Before you post:

Use the Search Feature. Maybe there is already a solution to your issue.

1. Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
2. Disable all Plugins
3. Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code ", click "Save Changes"
4. When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.

Now see if your problem solved itself.

Go here, see if your problem is listed here:
Troubleshooting

When you post:
1. Post a link to where the problem is
2. If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it

Thanks!
Post a link to where the problem is if possible, please <3
