favicon issue - old favicon/new favicon swap on pages
-
https://www.densityaroundvoid.org
navigating in the website the favicon change with unpredictable behaviour, tested already on different browsers. Did not find it as a known issue, WP and Laytheme are both updated. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to solve? It should display only the black background one with tree white dots.
Thanks for support!

Dear @save
No question that the old favicon is being loaded on the 'void' page - In the <head> code its there. Very Unlikely a Cache problem if its happening for me as well.
All old Favicon sizes are replaced by new one of the same size: 32x32 192x192 & 180x180 - So its not that.Unfortunately this is lilkely a problem you must contact Wordpress or your Hosting Provder with as its got something to do with the Favicon.ico file and your root directory.
Lay Theme is asking for this content and that is what your database is sending back - Going into the Theme editor and changing things with the Theme i would not suggest.
Sorry @save That its not a straight forward Lay Theme fix with this one! Contact your Webhost provider and ask for their help if you are able
Sincerely

Thanks, will find a solution, it is good to know that is not a Laytheme-related issue :)
Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
This often solves issues you might run into
When you post:
- Post a link to where the problem is
- Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
- If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
