    Good Day,

I discovered that when I'm on my mobile phone the the individual sides don't start at the top of the side. They start somewhat in the middle.

    See example below.

Is it possible to change that? Or do I have to change the design to fit.

    Example:

If I click in the Menu and come to the side. This is how it appears.
Its not at the top of the side.

This is the top of the side:

    Kind regards,
    Laura

        Dear Laura @Laura-S

It could well be a design problem and you need to create some extra margin/allowance at the top for your text to be visible :)

        Best wishes
        Richard

With extra margin/allowance you mean the frame you can set for each side (the pink frame)? I also thought about that. But if the visitor scrolls all the way up you suddenly have a space that is empty/"not well designed".

And its working on other mobile versions with Lay Theme like this:

          Best wishes,
          Laura

              Dear @Laura-S

Sorry if i didn't understand fully the first time -
The problem is that on page load, you start in the middle of the page? ( This what the title of the thread! )...

Are you able to post a link to this website? ( i have seen it on another thread )
Then i can take a proper look on Mobile and see what is happening.

Have a lovely day Laura, once again sorry for not understanding & talk soon

              Best wishes
              Richard

                No Worries!

                Here is the side link:
                https://www.catalogueofdisguise.de/haze

The password is: . (a fullstop)

On the mobile version you see, that expect the starting page alle pages start not at the top of the page.

                Best wishes,
                Laura

Okay, I just solved the problem.

If your side is password protected it will start somewhat not at the top of the page ( just mobile version). If its not password protected it starts at the top how it should.

Just so you know, in case someone asks again.

                  Best wishes,
                  Laura

                        Hi,

I have the same issue but my site is not password protected. On mobile the page being loaded does not start at the top but in the middle of the page.

                        labor.heikopreller.de

Does anyone have an idea besides the password protection?
                        Thank you and best wishes

                          Dear @Buntesamt

As a first step before proceeding, could you please make sure of the the following:

Wordpress, Lay Theme & Laytheme's Addons are all up to date ?

Any custom CSS or JS that may interfere is temporarily removed.

Any third-party plugins are de-activated to see if this resolves the issue.

If using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.

If your WordPress Dashboard shows a warning "PHP Update required”
Please update your PHP version in your webhost control panel.

Possibly your website is running PHP 8.0 this has been knownin some cases to cause issue.

Additionally take a look at https://laytheme.com/troubleshooting.html

                          Talk soon @Buntesamt & best wishes 🌝

                            Hi Richard,

thanks for your advice. None of the points could solve the problem.
It seems that the entry point of a page being loaded is exactly the point where you leave the page before. Scrolling to the middle of the page means you enter the loaded page also in the middle. Same at the top or bottom. Haven't found a solution yet.

                            Best

                              Dear @Buntesamt

I am being redirected to "badada.eu" when viewing your domain from a mobile - is this correct or an issue on my end?

                                Hi Richard,

the URl I posted is invalid now (but I do not understand the redirection). The new URL is heikopreller.de.
I think the problem is an issue on my end with using an old iOS. People told me it is just me seeing the page starting in the middle.

                                Thank you and best wishes

Thank you for the updated link 🌝
When viewing your page and trying multiple times with refresh - I always start at the top of the page.
