    Hello,

    I discovered that HTML5 Videos on my mobile phone sometimes don´t start immediately even though I have put them on autoplay & loop.

    Do you have an idea whats the problem or which setting I have to change?

      Im having trouble recreating the bug - Im looking on Iphone 12 with Safari

      What devices are you using & browser?

      Also to be sure:

      • Wordpress, Lay Theme & Laytheme's Addons are all up to date ?

      • Any Custom CSS or JS that may interfere is temporarily removed.

      • Any third-party plugins de-activated to see if this resolves the issue.

      • If using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.

      • License key not activated - (in website blank situations or button not available)

      • If your WordPress Dashboard shows a warning "PHP Update required"
        please update your PHP version in your webhost control panel.

        I am using an iPhone 7 and Safari.

        Its weird, because sometimes its working and then not. And I can't figure out the source of it.

        But its working on your phone?

          That performance video is so cool! :)
          Yes im using an Iphone with Safari - The only thing i had was a 4 second delay while the video loaded and then it kicked into autoplay?

          I reloaded it 5 times just to see what the behaviour was, everytime it autoplays

          I saw that the video was 7.4mb - if needed you could using "Handbrake" to compress file size:

            You mean the delay is due to the quite large video file?

            Is there anyway I could send you a screen recording of what I see?
            I tried to put it in this post but its not working

                And of course its working now since I complained.
                Maybe it was the Cache Plugin. In case the problem pops up again I will send you a DM via Chats.

                  Before you post:
                  1. When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
                  2. Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
                  3. Disable all Plugins
                  4. Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"

                  This often solves issues you might run into

                  When you post:
                  1. Post a link to where the problem is
                  2. Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
                  3. If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
