Same element (e.g. header slider) on every page

Hello community!

Is it possible to have the same element on every page/post like a header image, banner or header slider? Right now it seems that I would have to recreate such and element for every single page or post where I want to place it. Is there any other way to do it?

If the Footer option is being utilised already, adding some Custom HTML is an option:

Lay Options > Custom CSS & HTML >

Example HTML:

<div class="custom-banner">
     <img src="insert-url-path-from-media-library-here">
</div>

CSS:

.custom-banner{
     // define position of banner here
}

img{
     //define image properties here
}

---

Thanks a lot for the quick reply! Yes indeed, I am looking for something like the "Footer" function. But that one has two issues:

1. it is positioned and meant to be used at the bottom of the website/pages

2. it is good to use it as a footer ;-)

What I am looking for is rather an element that goes underneath the menu bar and stays there throughout the whole website.

If I custom code something – which is a good and easy way to do it – I can't easily add any carousels etc. to the header element.

So maybe it would be cool to implement another function just like the "Footer" that is called "Header" and works the same way just that it automatically goes underneath the menu bar. A great feature would be to have it not reload on page changes just like the menu does…

What do you think?

I think this is a great idea 🌞
At this point in time with Armin refining Woocommerce integration and fixing bugs, I must put into discussion for the future unfortunately even though i agree it would be great sooner.

I hope that i have been sufficiently helpful even though i cannot provide this function today.

Oh by the way: I regularly stumble upon the need for a simple blog system. Not necessarily a fully fledged blog – but a simple function to put up posts/articles other than portfolio posts.

I usually work around that by using a plugin like "W4 Post List" (https://w4dev.com/plugins/w4-post-list) as in this work-in-progress example: https://lafamiliareleases.com/wp/news/

So if you'd like to add that to the "soon to be realized feature list" I would be more than happy! :-)
