bug with borlab shortcodes

Reporting a Bug: the button and the link of the shortcode of borlabs are not functioning.
I couldn't find anything about on the borlabs website, so I'm guessing it must be a LayTheme issue.
With your update 3.4.1 on August 14th, 2020 Laytheme embeded the „Compatibility with Borland Cookie Plugin” . It is obligatory, that the user can change his/her user setttings anytime. In detail these are the two shortcodes I am talking about which are not working. Please help:
Button:
[borlabs-cookie type="btn-cookie-preference" title="Lorem ipsum"/]
Link:
[borlabs-cookie type="btn-cookie-preference" title="Lorem ipsum" element="link"/] -
I can verify that I have the same issue. It looks like there is some JS listener conflict on links with a href="#". Borlabs is supposed to catch the links based on the classes, but instead this is triggering a JS error in jQuery. I am describing a related issue in this post as well.

Dear @michaelmaeder
Sorry that you are having issue. ✨
Likely this Bug 🐛has been caused by the recent WooCommerce integration. Being a new & large change for Lay Theme the issues with different plugins have been unforeseen.
If a quick solution is needed, please email lostfiles@laytheme.com and you will be provided with the necessary downloads for a previous version of Lay Theme (before ver. 3.8.5). I am currently installing Borlabs and will do some tests relating to the two shortcodes:
[borlabs-cookie type="btn-cookie-preference" title="Lorem ipsum"/] [borlabs-cookie type="btn-cookie-preference" title="Lorem ipsum" element="link"/]
Along with forwarding this to Armin for further inspection 🔍.
Normally we don't offer support for all Third-party plugins but if we have stated its use with Lay Theme specifically i can understand the obligation. Please make sure of the following as well:
Wordpress, Lay Theme & Laytheme's Addons are all up to date ?
Any custom CSS or JS that may interfere is temporarily removed.
Any third-party plugins are de-activated to see if this resolves the issue (leaving only Borlabs activated, it could be another plugin interfering.
Talk soon Michael and have a wonderful day, sorry for the inconvenience caused 🌝
Sincerely
Richard

Thank you @Richard,
Off course, would be great if Borlabs could work with Laytheme, as consent management is kind of crucial for legal compliance.
I will retrieve the older Laytheme version via email and try it out with that for now.
Thanks so much for your response.
My best,
