Scrolling over background image effect (Parallax scrolling?)
-
Hey @Richard & @arminunruh ,
I'm wondering if and how the following scrolling effect is possible to achieve with Lay Theme:
Having (background) images between the content sections that are shown when scrolling. It looks like the content in the front slides over it and reveals the whole image bit by bit. This is a very popular feature on Squarespace and I'm wondering if it's also possible here. These two are example pages that use this a lot:
https://www.emilyjeffords.com/
https://www.tahliastanton.com/I know that there is a parallax option for single elements but for the effect that you can see on the example pages I would have to set a parallax for the whole row, right?
I haven't found an option to do that unfortunately.I hope you know what I mean and would love to hear if this is possible somehow!
Or if not, maybe this could be an addon in the future?
Found a link from Squarespace about this:

Thank you! -
Dear @Bella

Will happily forward it as well as put this mention into the development notes. ✅
