Imagehover Addon without link?
-
Hi there,
I have a question somehow related to the Imagehover Addon, which I really love!
I want to use the same functionality on a background image, so that another image follows the x/y mouse movements (centered horizontal & vertical image position) like the Imagehover Addon does.
It works exactly like I imagine it if I just link the row background, but unfortunately I just don’t need the link.
I wonder if there’s an easy way to use the addon but somehow "deactivate" the link?
(I googled and tried a few examples for custom mouse cursors, but I don’t want to replace the cursor and I don’t even need fancy things like delayed movements or anything.)
Many thanks in advance!

Dear @patricia
A common way to disable links is pointer-events: none; But i hope that this wont affect the cursor functionality on top.

If you link to the page & row where you wish to de-activate the link i could make sure 🌝
Best wishes
Richard

Thanks for your reply!
I tried to adress it with .row-bg-link or .background-image like this:
.slug-loremipsum .row-bg-link {
pointer-events: none;
}It works, it's not clickable anymore but then the hover image isn’t visible anymore either.
I’ll send you the link to the specific page via Chat, hope that’s ok.
Thanks again, Richard!
