Re: Project / page permalinks don't work
When I hover over my thumbnail the wrong permalink on the bottom left shows up. In conseques nothing happens when clicking on the thumbnail, even if opening in a new tab.

Dear M
@massimowerner Sorry for my delayed reply, hope you had a nice weekend 🌝
Could we please make sure of the following before debugging:
Wordpress, Lay Theme & Laytheme's Addons are all up to date ?
Any custom CSS or JS that may interfere is temporarily removed.
Any third-party plugins are de-activated to see if this resolves the issue.
If using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
If your WordPress Dashboard shows a warning "PHP Update required” Please update your PHP version in your webhost control panel.
Possibly your website is running PHP 8.0 this has been known in some cases to cause issue.

Hi Richard
Yes, somehow I now managed to get them right. But still, if I click on them nothing happens.
But if try to reach it directly via the addressbar the site comes up.
I know, it probably is a very simple issue here, but as I'm new to all this, I really can't find the solution to it...Thanks for your help.

Dear Massimo
@massimowerner
It could be related to this thread:
http://laythemeforum.com:4567/topic/6729/links-not-working-on-website/3
I think your links are set to HTTP but your website is HTTPS? E.g: https://www.massimowerner.net/ but a link is set to http://massimowerner.net/a-matter-of-perspective/
You would need to test this by changing a link to HTTPS.
Talk soon & best wishes Massimo ⭐️

Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
This often solves issues you might run into
When you post:
- Post a link to where the problem is
- Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
- If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
