Text duplicate

Every time I try to edit text, it duplicates the word. The more times I try to edit, the more copies appear. I saw a post with the same problem from July this year, did what they recommended but nothing worked:

Could you please make sure of the following:

***- Wordpress, Lay Theme & Laytheme's Addons are all updated to current versions ?

• Any custom code </> that may interfere is temporarily removed.
• Any third-party plugins are de-activated.***

Thank you for checking the main debugging steps. I am currently getting a singular "contact" - Does it only appear in the Gridder and not the front-end?

Did you once have any multi-langauge plugins installed? E.g Q-translate XT or Polylang?

Hi Richard, didn't notice you replied. I just deactivated the Spanish feature on qTranslate-XT per your advice and it fixed the problem. Thanks a lot for your help.
