Mobile Project Thumbnails titles acting up

Hello,

I have an issue with mobile project thumbnails on mobile.

my site is: https://www.jasongalbut.com

For desktop I have it set to "show on mouseover"
For mobile I have it set to "Do not show mouseover state"

I don't want to have the title to show at any point in the mobile version, but I keep seeing it when I tab the project thumbnails.

Any ides on a fix?

I am unable to recreate the Bug, could we please make sure for testing:

Wordpress, Lay Theme & Laytheme's Addons are all up to date ?

Any custom CSS or JS that may interfere is temporarily removed.

Any third-party plugins are de-activated to see if this resolves the issue.

Yes everything is up to date. No custom CSS or JS and no plugins other than laytheme's.

The project thumbnails setting for mobile is set to "Do not show mouseover state"

Yet still shows when I tap.
