Responsive levels
-
Hello,
Just a quick question, did you plan to integrate three different levels for responsive layout, instead of two ? For example : desk, tablet and smartphone.
Thanks !

hey benoit!
I have thought about that.
Hm, there is one thing for tablet so far. "Lay Options" -> "Textformats Settings" -> "Add "Tablet" settings to Textformats"This way you can have a different fontsize for tablet. :D But yeah it's nothing that has to do with layout.
For tablet I think often people want less columns per row when you show many thumbnails. What would you change in your layout for a tablet version?

I totally agree with you, less columns per row, no more, essentially for the homepage where you have lots of thumbnails...
Actually, just a small intermediate step without changing the layout, but the possibility to switch on two columns if you have a layout with four columns for example.
It will be perfect !

Hey benoit! So I'm planning to work on a "project thumbnail grid" which will be an element that you can add in the gridder. This will just contain all thumbnails of projects of a specified category. This way you dont have to move around all thumbnails when you have a new project. This "project thumbnail grid" should have some options for tablet. I can't tell you when that feature will be available, could take some time.

Ok great, thanks a lot for your availability !

project thumbnail grid
Just one little question about your future "project thumbnail grid", which is a very good idea for the homepage, but will it be possible to use it in the footer in a project page as a "related projects" row, so an option to display only three thumbnails for example? What do you think ?

that is a good idea, let's see
Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
This often solves issues you might run into
When you post:
- Post a link to where the problem is
- Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
- If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
