    hi!

    It would be nice to be able to have a social media icon in my text footer. I'm sure it aint hard to do via CSS but seems like a common thing to have in there.

    Also would be nice for the space between the text items could be a percentage so they collapse a bit more elegantly while the browser window gets resized.

    Thanks, Team! Couldn't function without Lay Theme!

    Best,
    Tom

      Dear @tkracauer

      Best wishes! ✨

      "It would be nice to be able to have a social media icon in my text footer"

      I will add this to development notes. āœ…
      Any page can be set as a footer, so you could use the social media icons in the Gridder that way.

      Here's a trick!

      Create a Social Media Icon setup as you wish:

      Then Publish the page and using "right-click - inspect" take a look at the HTML output:

      Right-click on this HTML element & COPY.

      Now going back to your page you can select "Text Footer" & within the text input select "Source Code":

      Paste your HTML code in there, and then publish your page:

      This way we have input our Social Media icons! šŸŒ

      Obviously you may wish to style them a little more, they will take on the width & height (CSS) from their original placement in the Gridder.

      Just to show that Lay Theme has a lot of interesting ways that you can work with its functions šŸ‘

      "would be nice for the space between the text items could be a percentage"

      Agreed and have also put into the notes āœ…
      If needed here is the code that would change the margin between:

      E.g:

      .lay-textfooter-item{margin-right:15px;}

      To:

      .lay-textfooter-item {margin-right: 3% !important;}

      Have a Great day @tkracauer & thank you for supporting Lay Theme āļø
