    Hi,

I've just installed the Smash Ballon Instagram plugin to my LAY site. There seems to be a clash with the AJAX loading when you navigate to the page that contains this new instagram plugin. The LAY theme page fade in doesn't work, all is fine when you leave the page to go to another though.

    Site - https://paulcalver.cc/

Page with instagram plugin - https://paulcalver.cc/info/

I appreciate I can turn off the AJAX loading to give a consistent page transition, but then I loose the fade, which I really like.

Any ideas on how to work around?

    Thanks,
    Paul.

      Dear @paulcalver

Yes the AJAX compatibility mode creates hard page loads when normally Lay Theme is a single page application and the loads are seamless.

A workaround would be to implement a simple fade in using some jQuery, something like:

      https://www.w3schools.com/jquery/jquery_fade.asp

Applied to the lay-content or gridder.

      https://laytheme.com/documentation/custom-javascript.html

      Best wishes
      Richard

hey paul, there needs to be a hard refresh for the plugin to work on that page.
              sorry about that!
and the custom coding for a fade effect for when you have a hard refresh, sorry i dont have time for that :OO
