Category not showing gridder options

Hello again,

ich wanted to add a new project to my portfolio. But now I noticed that my start page is gone on wordpress.
My starting page is a category, but I can not customize it… there is no option anymore.
Normally there were the gridder options. Now I can not do anything. Is that because of the whole SEO thing? I had problems with it before, when I updated lay theme, then I had to reinstall an old version to see the SEO Options again. Now I can't edit my start page with a category

Now I dont know how to add the thumbnail to the start page.
I am desperate.

Please try the following debugging steps:

Wordpress, Lay Theme & Laytheme's Addons are all up to date ?

Any custom CSS or JS that may interfere is temporarily removed.

Any third-party plugins are de-activated to see if this resolves the issue.

If using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
