    Hello guys,
I have a question about the thumbnail grid.

For an ecommerce I'm working on, I would like to have a different set of tags under each categories. For instance under the category "Genre" I would like to have the tags "Disco, Funk, House, techno", under the category "Countries" I would like to have the tags "Germany, France, Sweden, etc."; but without these tags showing up on the other categories.

You can see below that tags are duplicated in multiple categories, which is not what I'm trying to achieve.

How can I solve this ? or is there anyway to achieve this result, like a filter plugin ? Thanks in advance.

      hey!

when you click on a category the project thumbnails of that category are shown.
if any of these projects has a tag for example "House", there will be a "House" tag button.

This means one of your projects that has the category "Label" has a tag "House".

Just make sure all projects of each category only have the tags that you want to show up for that category.

Hi Armin, thanks for your reply.

What I would like is for each project to have multiple tags, but that each tag is only seen on the relevant categories.

For instance a project would have the tags "Disco", "France", "2022", but when I click on the category "Countries" I can only see the country tags, or when I click on the category "Genre" I can only see the genre tags.

How can I achieve this ? thank you

        Genre
        Disco
        Funk
        Rap
        House

        Countries
        Germany
        Switzerland
        France

        Year
        2022
        2021
        2020

i think what you're look for is subcategories

lay theme doesn't support subcategories :/
also no third party plugin will change that
