Footer / Polylang Automation
-
Hej @arminunruh @Richard,
I have a very large site with many subpages and projects. I would like to create a footer for all pages via the Laytheme Options > Footer. I have already created 2 pages (DE/EN) as footers which are linked in Polylang. If I now select the English footer in the settings, for example, it would be nice if the German pages automatically displayed the already linked German version instead of the English one.
Is this somehow easy to realise? That would save me a lot of work, because I wouldn't have to manually assign the footer to all pages and projects. 😇
Best regards and thanks, Fabi

hey cant you just do this and assign one footer to all pages?
instead of choosing the "show a select input in the page edit screen…" option
-
I have already tried that, or rather that is what I described above. If I select the English footer there and display it on all pages, it is also displayed on the German pages, although the footer in Polylang would have a translated version.
It would be nice if you could select the standard language and then Ploylang would add the appropriate language.
