Bought Domain on orangewebsite - will it work?

I would like to buy Laythemes. I bought a domain via orangewebsite.com - I just wanted to check in whether that would be compatible with Laythemes. Is there some way for me to research that? I saw the comment saying buying a domain at wordpress doesn't work....so figured I'd ask before purchasing anything.

@Bloodred you would also have to get a Webhosting plan with a "database", because you need a webspace and a database to host and install Wordpress/Laytheme. Maybe you could take a look if orangewebsites offer this.
There is a difference between Wordpress.com and Wordpress.org.

Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options ā Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"

- Post a link to where the problem is
- Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
- If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
