HTML 5 – Autoplay not working on mobile

Hi there,
I have a couple of HTML 5 videos on my site. Some of which are in carousels, some not, but I can't seem to get either of them to autoplay on mobile. Weirdly, they do play when clicked even though I don't have this option selected (see screenshot below). I don't have this issue on desktop.
Additionally, I can see that the HTML 5 videos I have inside carousels which also include other images DO autoplay.
I have updated Lay Theme and the Carousel plugin as well as clearing the project page cache. I'm not sure how to resolve this. Please help!

this video autoplays for me on my iphone safari
u sure you dont have "low power mode" enabled on your phone?
that causes videos to not autoplay

Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
